                         Informa{\c{c}}{\~o}es de sensoriamento remoto, an{\'a}lise de 
                         f{\'a}cies sedimentares e geocronologia foram utilizadas para 
                         compartimenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o, e elucidam a evolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         geomorfol{\'o}gica da plan{\'{\i}}cie e conflu{\^e}ncia. As 
                         analises demonstram compartimentos onde o abandono da drenagem do 
                         rio Paran{\'a} possibilitou a migra{\c{c}}{\~a}o da 
                         conflu{\^e}ncia e o leito encaixado e de maior profundidade do 
                         rio Iva{\'{\i}}. ABSTRACT: The study shows the formation of 
                         Iva{\'{\i}} and Paran{\'a} River alluvial plain and its stages 
                         of geomorphological evolution. Data of remote sensing, sedimentary 
                         facies and geochronology were used with goals of identify 
                         morphogenetic units and explain the evolution of alluvial plain 
                         and confluence. The results point out the drainage abandonment in 
                         the Paran{\'a} River triggered the migration of confluence and 
                         collaborated to the embedded and deeper bed in the Iva{\'{\i}} 
                         River.",
